(June 27\, 2025) — The 10\,000 Lakes Concours d’ Elegance returns to Canterbury Park on Sunday\, Sept. 14\, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Shakopee\, Minn. This elegant event will showcase more than 200 examples of invite-only examples of automotive art and design across history from 1900 until 1970. \n\nA “Concours” is a “Competition of elegance” and expert judges will choose “Best in Class”\, “Best in Show” and the coveted “People’s Choice” awards\, to be given out at 3:30 p.m. during the Winner’s Parade. \n\nThe 10\,000 Lakes Concours d’ Elegance gives attendees the chance to connect with friends and family while wandering through history. Learn the story behind the incredible automobiles\, motorcycles\, and tractors on display. Talk with the owners and learn how these pieces of history have been preserved and cherished. \n\nNew for 2025:  a “100 Years of Chrysler” exhibit and a collection of Stutz automobiles from across the nation. \nStay and play in our picnic area offering fine foods and beverages\, wandering fashion shows\, a makers & vintage shopping alley\, live music\, the Morrie’s Auto Kid Zone featuring an auto-themed creation station and face painting\, as well as pony rides. \nAdvance tickets are $20. Children 16 and under receive free admission with each paid adult. \nCurrent military or veterans are free at the gate with their military ID. DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Minnesota car show season kicks off with the 67th annual GSTA Rod & Custom Spectacular Car Show presented by Brainerd International Raceway\, April 12 and 13\, at a new location this year\, the Canterbury Park Expo Center. \nSee the area’s finest Hot Rods\, Customs\, Street Machines\, and Motorcycles on display at Minnesota’s oldest indoor motorized event. There’s plenty of fun for kids including a scavenger hunt\, the chance to sit in a real race car\, and FREE Hot Wheels Cars from Sgt. Hot Wheels. It’s a car show within a car show as kids and adults can also display their homebuilt model cars in the Model Car Extravaganza. There will be FREE live music by the Rockin’ Hep Cats on Saturday from 5 – 8 p.m. as well. \nCar owners compete in a number of judged categories including Best in Class\, Best of Show\, and more. More than $7\,500 in prize money and awards are available.
