Weekly Show Report 6/5/19

There is no question about it, car show season is in FULL swing! The next couple of weekends will be jam PACKED with events, so tune up, fill up and get to some shows!

Wednesday, June 4th

• Cooly Rocks On kicks off and runs through Sunday in New South Wales, Australia. It looks like a really great time with car shows, music, the whole nine yards.

Friday, June 7th

• Daytona Truck Meet hits the shores of Daytona Beach Florida! Don’t forget your sunscreen folks, this sounds like an absolutely awesome show and it runs through Sunday.
• Funfest for Air-Cooled VW takes place in Illinois, they will be celebrating the 50th Birthday of Herbie the Love Bug. Bring cake!
• Slamology will take place over the weekend in Indianapolis Indiana and we plan on covering it, so keep an eye out for that coming next week.
• Showoff 2019 Custom Truck and Car Shows takes place in Galveston over the weekend.
• Super Summit 2019 takes place Friday and Saturday at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, it’s free to attend and it looks like Big Foot might be dropping in. The truck, not the worlds greatest hide and seek champ!
• The Peggy Sue Car Show and Cruise hits Santa Rosa, California on Friday and Saturday.

Saturday, June 8th

• HDay Summer kicks off at New England Dragway & Motorsports Park in New Hampshire and continues on Sunday.
• Here is a bucket-list show, the Hot Rod Power Tour kicks off in Concord, North Carolina and continues until June 14th when it will end at the Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. *For the record, we are hoping to do the tour next year, keep an eye out for those shenanigans.
• For all you two wheel folks Harleyfest kicks off at Motor City Harley-Davidson in Farmington Hills, Michigan and runs through Sunday.
• The 14th Annual Capitola Car Show starts in Capitola, California and continues on Sunday.
• The American Graffiti Festival & Car Show takes place in Modesto, California and wraps up on Sunday.
• One of our favorite shows, the Custom Car Revival takes place on Saturday in Indianapolis, look for some AMAZING customs hitting the site next week.
• I bet this one is gonna be a good time, The 47 Jalopy Run goes down in Lonedell, Missouri.
• Cruise Down Memory Lane takes place in Vineland, New Jersey
• Saturday Night Lights – Show & Drag Racing Event will take place at Island Dragway in New Jersey.
• Nissfest will also take place in Modesto, California.

Sunday, June 9th

• If you’re into the vintage and unique you might want to check out the Barry Festival of Transport on Barry Island, UK.
• The Grand-Slam Car Show will take place in Springdale, Arizona.
• This one looks really cool for those of us into the motorbikes, Vintage Motorcycle Weekend at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan. Its actually a two-day event but the show is on Sunday, check it out!
• The Cincinnati Concours d’Elegance will take place on Sunday at Ault Park and we will be there, all dapper and what-not, coverage coming soon!
• East Coast Showdown hits Pleasant View Golf Center in Somers, Connecticut.
• Gold’s Gym Totowa presents their 2nd Annual Car Show in Totowa, New Jersey.
• Panda Junction Spring Edition goes down at York Fair in York, Pennsylvania.
• Slammedenuff New Jersey Car Show goes down at the Wildwoods Convention Center and heck it’s right off the beach!
• Last but not least is the Honda Super Meet that takes over the Petersen Automotive Museum in LA.
